Fox is following your every move with his eyes. He is not moving a muscle but he is ready to spring if necessary.
He is made from locally sourced Vermont wool and alpaca with a wire frame. His length is about 14 inches. He has glass eyes and horse hair whiskers.
He is made using a technique called needle felting. Using specially barbed needles the unspun wool is poked and tangled to produce a solid sculpture. It takes hours to create a shape and then to define it's features. There is no sewing or "stuffing" involved.
All the wool is locally sourced raw and hand cleaned, processed and dyed by the artist.
All of the sculptures are one of a kind and can not be reproduced.
